I am Heleen Lippevelt, a highly motivated product developer with experience in project management.
After 6 wonderful years in the Alps, back to the roots!
This page reflects my main skills I gained during education & professional experiences.
My skills
Conceptual Thinking
All concepts start with a thinking pattern. Detecting needs and patterns within subject groups and translating them into useful information is essential. Listening to the end user is paramount in order to create successful concepts. However, connecting the dots between all that information is also important. In my opinion the key is to remain openminded and be able to react and pivot swiftly.
These skills were developed during my Master Thesis: Food Heroes. I have learned to analyze the bigger picture by engaging with stakeholders and selecting the essentials to talk about. However it doesn’t stop there. Going back and validating concepts is part of the process.
Creative skills
Even though creativity sounds like a boundless concept, it is actually stimulated best by creating boundaries and borders to an idea or concept. It might sounds paradoxical but thinking outside of the box is encouraged this way. I like to look at problems from different perspectives in order to proactively come up with new and fresh ideas.
TIME MANAGEMENT
I am naturally an organized person. This makes creating plannings according to timelines and todo lists my second nature. I reach for these tools to create an overview on my challenges. This helps me oversee the big picture and be able to discuss changes and risks.
Splitting bigger tasks into smaller ones helps to stay focused, reach accomplishments incrementally, define priorities and keep on track so deadlines are reached.

Reliable & Responsible
When I make a promise to someone I will move mountains to ensure that I will do so. You can count on me. With respect to this I will not say empty words and set realistic promises. I will also say when something is not possible or out of reach.
Enthusiastic & Empathic
I like to share, whether it be my passions, food or stories. I like to connect with people rather than have superficial relationships. I am happy knowing that my environment is feeling happy as well.
